SDF / YPG has reportedly started a offensive to take Manbij from ISIS

In the Southern Kobanî offensive, the Syrian Democratic Forces captured the strategically important Tishrin Dam and the southern villages and countryside of the Kobanî Canton of Rojava from the Islamic State. After that the front between ISIS and the SDF in northern Aleppo was mostly calm. In the last few days signs condense that the Syrian Democratic Forces is about to start a offensive to capture Manbij city from ISIS.

Today the claim arose on twitter that the SDF has started the offensive towards Manbij
