Jabhat Al-Nusra attacked repelled by the Syrian Army

The Syrian branch of Al-Qaida, also called “Jabhat Al-Nusra” and some of their allies launched a new big assault within the Hama Governorate’s eastern rural area on Saturday . They were targeting the Syrian Army’s defensive positions at the villages of Al-Rabayah and Madajin.

Jabhat Al-Nusra began the attack by storming the SAA defenses at  Madajin village. But they were unable to seize this vital position outside the village center despite outnumbering the government fighters. After the unsuccessful assault on Madajin, the terrorists from Jabhat Al-Nusra shifted their attention to the village Al-Rabayah. Once again the terrorists tried to advance against the Syrian Arab Army. This Attack got repelled again by the Syrian Army

Both attacks on Madajin and Al-Rabayah resulted in failure, leaving a confirmed twenty two of their militants dead within the day. According to the military source in the Hama Governorate, the Syrian Arab Army lost 6 soldiers and 3 other soldiers were wounded.
